Tamarindo to Flamingo
The dive center located in nearby Flamingo Beach offers daily morning and afternoon dive trips. One of the more popular spots in this area is off of Catalina islands. These islands are situated about five miles off shore and provide six different dive sites. The Catalina islands diving have fabulous volcanic rock formations with lots of marine life such as spotted eagle rays, frog, fish, schools of colorful tropical fish and not to mention the sea horses floating by you.
The nearby town of Tamarindo also has a scuba shop which offers PADI certification classes and daily trips to the Catalina islands and surrounding reef spots. Both the Tamarindo and Flamingo dive shops offer full equipment rentals.
